- The Longest Day are an alternative experimental rock band with their sights set on nothing less than world domination. Already gaining a strong following in their hometown they have since taken their unique mix of "Volcanic melodic technological rock" up and down the UK impressing crowds with a huge sound that takes you by complete surprise. The powerful heartfelt songs packed with meaningful lyrics and catchy hooks,coupled with an enigmatic live show makes this group a force to be reckoned with. All hailing from a small picturesque town on the south coast of England,the four members of the band,Dan Henry (Vocals,guitar),Ross Thompson (Bass,backing vocals),Tom Gee (Lead Guitar)and Allan Varnfield (Drums and beats) each share intense determination and passion for the music they create,and at the same time cramming in as much fun and excitement as is humanly possible. This band strives to tread a different set of footprints and carve a new path.
