THE FIRESTATION COMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well ladies and gents what can we say???!!

Yet again you guys have really come up trumps for us! What started off as a bit of a joke really seemed to get some interest so all we can say is thank you so so much for all you guys that came to the Firestation on Thursday but a special thanks to those who made a special effort to bring some friends along! And for those new people on behalf of the band I hope you enjoyed it and we might possibly see some of you again in the future! We really had fun so we cant wait till the next gig!

So we come to the moment that all.......4 of you have been waiting for! lol! Just kidding!

WELL WHO WON THE COMP I HEAR YOU CRY?????????

Well in 1st place we have the one and only Charlie Poole. I think Charlie sold about 15 or 16 tickets but she was easily the winner so thanks a lot Charlie! Now all you need to do is think of a really good excuse to get out of your lesson and studio trip! But you did us proud!

2nd Place Stu "LEGEND" Jones with 9 tickets! Thanks mate... you finally did something to repay everything we've done for you over the years! God damn it he hasn't got Facebook any more! Can one of his friends or family (Ellen) please point out this wind-up! thanks! :-)

3rd place - well ...now this is the tricky one! We've got some people tied and also some that came close so we wanted to thank you all in kind cos your all wicked so we're gonna have to get you all some goodies I think! Maybe even a couple more free lessons I reckon!

Lyvie to of course! and my family Gav, Dianne, Ian, Ben and Cath who came for the 1st time! Thanks for your support! Hope you enjoyed it ...oh and LIVERPOOL! Also thanks so much to all the guys in Know Your Enemy and Clare of course! Thanks for having us, hopefully we can do it again soon!

If there is anyone we've forgotten im so sorry and just before you ask theoretically I should get the date with Dan as I did kinda think of the whole comp idea so the rules were an all expenses paid meal of my choice so...... chicken pizziola wrap please Dan! LOVELY JOB! I'm a cheap date!

Studio update

Well, It seems we are about a third of the way there with the new songs. Ross has now finished up his tracking. In record time I might add. The tracks are really starting to take shape. It's Toms time to shine in the studio now. I've been doing a bit of microphone placement for Tommy-guns' guitar sound. For those who don't know what that is, basically I'm moving the mics ever so slightly to find that "sweet spot" on the cabinet. All fun and games. Cant wait till I go in again to lay down the vocals.
